How Richard Huws reinvented the fountain

Most of the plans on the table were of an extension to our house that Richard was helping my father design for my grandmother Nellie. She was the eldest of Richard’s four sisters and the subject of this lovely drawing he did in 1927.

Other sheets of paper were Richard’s engineering sketches of what I later understood to be water ‘hoppers’.
