How good is your grip on reality?

Only one student wrote about the film in purely geometric terms along the lines of:
“A large solid triangle enters a rectangle and comes out. Each time, the corner and one half of one of the sides of the rectangle form an opening. Another, smaller triangle and a circle appear,” and so on.
All the other students described the film as the actions of living creatures, usually people. Although in two cases, they wrote about birds, probably because the pointed ends of the triangles resemble beaks, as you can see from these pictures.
